A very lively past 3 months June July September Koh Samui News 2013 has been experienced both in sales and rentals by most of the Agents on the island. However we are back in the quiet season where most of the inquiry is sounding out information for their coming trip in the early new year.
A new development is in the throws of being launched in Cheong Mon area. This i am sure will prove popular as they have foreign Freehold title on some of the townhouses along side the Condominium development. Priced from 4Ml – 8ml with high quality finish.
There are 2 new lower priced Condominium developments that have just come on the Market. Interest is high for these as the prices start from just 1.59 ml.
There have been strong sales also recorded in land sales ranging from 2Ml -9ml. on residential building blocks.
Work is progressing well with the Samui Central plaza. This should give the complete package of facilities available to shoppers.
Rental properties are still finding tenants, while sales have slowed a little with the message coming back very mixed.
There are those who wish to sit on the fence and see if there own situation is going to get better and those who are holding back for a raft of different reasons. Will currency rates become more favourable. Will prices go backwards. Will they build cheaper in the future?
Some times its just need of a reason that can help them not make a decision that is all that is wanted.
However unless there is a situation that the US found themselves in where they created a phantom market. Property prices over time always proceed upwards and little is gained by doing nothing.
Samui is constantly having improvements made in electricity supply, water supply, roadways, shopping facilities and new Hotels and Resorts.
This leads towards the thinking that the future for Koh Samui looks very positive and prices while they have not moved forward much will do so in the near future.
